2012 BMWDFW Texas Forts Tour April 20-23

Here’s your opportunity to do a four day West Texas ride in the spring with a great group and an interesting venue. Join us on April 20 through 23 for the 2012 BMWDFW Texas Forts Tour.

We will be visiting five fully restored historic forts as we enjoy riding through the Hill Country and the Davis mountains. Fort Croghan, Fort McKavett, Fort Davis, Fort Stockton, and Fort Concho each offer a unique glimpse of frontier history and have their own tale to tell. We will be dining in some memorable restaurants as well as staying in some interesting places, too. As an added bonus, all these forts are included in the 2012 Individual Challenge Ride.

2012 BMWDFW Annual TGIS Ride March 30 – April 1

This year’s BMWDFW Annual “Thank God It’s Spring” ride includes a trip to historic Fredericksburg and the Hill Country. The event is scheduled for March 30, 31, and April 1. The event will include great food, great scenery, and (of course) great riding!

This year’s ride is still a Couples oriented ride but with a bonus. Fredericksburg is a great shopping and sightseeing destination for those that don’t ride. Just jump in the car and join us. For those partners that don’t care to ride down on the bike, it’s an easy destination to carpool and save money for shopping.

We’re planning a joint club swap meet for Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1650 W. Crosby Rd. in Carrollton, 75006. This will be in the parking lot at Schneider Electric — close to Belt Line and Luna Road. A ‘brats and dogs lunch will also be available at a minimal cost. Bring your extra gear and join in the fun.
