Photo 1:  Taken at the Hotel Blessing in Blessing, Texas on May 8th by Bob Fitch. It is also is on my favorite ride to eat places. The old hotel is just like it was in 1920 except some of the electric lights have been upgraded. They still have the rates posted on a piece of paper scotch taped to the check in desk: $132 a week. They have a buffet dining room open only at lunch Monday through Saturday. No air conditioning! The food is fantastic and the buffet includes drink and dessert (pie and cobbler and All you can eat)!!Blessing Hotel
